1st Little Stoke Scout Group enjoyed an end of term treat, they were visited online by Lucas Jet.
All the sections got to try out some circus skills at home using some items they had at home.  It was an hour of fun and laughter for the parents and young people.

One of the Beaver Scouts raises £266.00 for Struggling Scout Groups

Congratulations to Robert one of the Beaver Scouts who helped raise funds for the Scout Association Covid relief fund called Race round the world. He enlisted the help of his family and together they walked and rode 150 miles and raised £266.00 for the appeal.  We are all very proud of him.

Can’t stop me zooming at 1st Little Stoke.
The start of a new term saw all the sections continuing with an online program.  These sessions have been a brilliant way for all the members involved in Scouting to get together, share their experiences and love of Scouting.
The Beaver section have continued to work hard on achieving a wide variety of badges and thoroughly enjoyed their online zoom session with the local astronomer, the 45 minute session whizzed by and after an hour the Beavers were still really enjoying themselves and learning …

Beavers have a visit online from an Astronomer

The Beavers had a visit from an Astronomer, Stephen Parkinson, this term to help them work towards their Space badge.
They looked at constellations and drew them onto paper, they talked about Planets and Stars and were shown a moving model of them.
They interacted and listened with great interest, displayed great use of their Beaver promise and Scouting values. Thank you  to the Beavers and the Parents/Guardians for working so hard.
I received an email afterwards from the speaker he said
