Board of Trustees

The role of the Board of Trustees is to provide support to the Scout Group including the overall management of facilities and budgets.  The Board of Trustees is a committee of the Group Council, and is made up from volunteers, mainly parents. The key roles are:

  • Chair-person – responsible for running the Committee. The Chair-person is nominated by the Group Lead Volunteer
  • Treasurer – ensuring the stability of the finances and governance of the Group.
  • Group Lead Volunteer

The Board of Trustees are always looking for new volunteers we can run with minimum 5 and max 12. The Board of Trustees formally meets six times a year. If you would like to become involved with the Committee ask one of the Leaders or turn up for the next AGM.
