The benefits for adults in Scouting
As well as gaining externally recognised skills and having a brilliant time, Scouting offers the chance to build on personal skills, like teamwork, confidence and leadership. A study found that over 90% of our volunteers believe that the skills and experiences they have gained through Scouting have been of relevance to their working or personal lives.
It also looks great on your CV and always goes down well with friends and work colleagues.
Scouting gives a practical and fulfilling way to get out and about. Remember where our young people go, you go too. From camping to adventurous activities you will also have the chance to try and experience the same activities.
Benefits we offer at 1st Little Stoke for Adults include:
- Help with the purchase of uniform.
- If you are a parent and volunteer with a regular commitment then we will allow your son or daughter to forego any section waiting list.
